The Body Scan Meditation is a guided meditation. After a brief relaxation, you will be guided to notice different areas of your body, from the top of your head all the way to your toes, noticing - without judgment and with kindness and compassion - where your body may feel discomfort, strain, stress, tightness, or unusual feelings; you will be prompted to make a mental note of the place and feeling, and bring relaxation to those areas. This is a way to learn to cue you into the Mind-Body Connection, which can help us begin to identify what thoughts, feelings, and emotions may be stressing us and why. NOTE: Meditations should never be played while driving a motor vehicle or participating in an activity that requires your full attention for safety.
